Cyanocidal "Ion Network"

         Chemically-free technology designed to correct the occurrence of cyanobacteria in water reservoirs. The ion network method is a physically optimized way of coloidal cyanocidal ionized substances application into the aquatic environment, having negligible negative effects on other organisms. Intervention, using the ion network causes physical changes on the surface of cyanobacteria cells, such as zeta - potential reduction etc. Ion network may be active even after settling on the bottom of the water reservoir, where it can be toxic to algae for a long time in order of several months until potential equalization.

The ionic network method is protected by a patent.

         In addition to high efficiency, the possibility of preventive intervention and long-term effects, this technology minimizes the use of alien substances. This is at least by 3-4 orders (!) lower when compared to conventional chemical methods. The costs of an ion technology intervention does not exceed PAX treatments, while at the same time, productivity is at least about 30 % higher.

  • Reduced cost of intervention due to the fact, that the substance is generated using electrical source and not chemical or other agents, on board of the application vessel;
  • Highly variable and customizable application of substances, conventional and unconventional, but possibly cheaper materials like nonoparticles (ex. Fe). Sediment or column targeted treatment possibility, thanks to the Ejector technology, which also allows thorough mixing into the algae mass;
  • Directly aimed at cyanobacteria removal, with minimal impact on other organisms. Import of metals and possibly toxic materials into the ecosystem is negligible.
  • Preventive and long-term character;
  • Cleans and disinfects the water column, separates particles and unpurities and thus dramatically increases transparency. Subsequently, the level of total phosphorus decreases by a significant amount (cca. 20%);
  • The ion network is composed of a spectrum of agents, which are activated directly in the reactor chamber, or behind the vessel when mixed into the algae biomass. These are generally co-products of electrolysis, such as ozone, peroxide, oxygen catalyzing the process of coagulation;
  • Produced oxides prevent the water from reaching low-oxygen levels as a result of cyanobacteria mass decomposition.

  • ion network is deposited on the bottom of the water tank;
  • ion network remains active on the bottom until potential equalization.
